Welcome to FitDeck! This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

2. Information We Collect

Personal Information

We do NOT collect any personal information. FitDeck does not require you to create an account, and we do not collect:

• Names
• Email addresses
• Phone numbers
• Physical addresses
• Payment information
• Any other personally identifiable information

Workout Data

All workout data, including:

• Generated workouts
• Saved favorite workouts
• Exercise settings and preferences
• Timer history

is stored ONLY on your device. We never upload this data to our servers or share it with anyone.

3. Third-Party Services

FitDeck uses the following third-party services:

3.1 ExerciseDB API

We use ExerciseDB (via RapidAPI) to provide exercise information, including:

• Exercise names and descriptions
• Exercise animations (GIFs)
• Target muscle groups
• Equipment requirements

This service may collect anonymous usage data. For more information, please review the RapidAPI Privacy Policy.

3.2 Google AdMob

We display advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use the following information:

• Device information (model, OS version)
• Ad interaction data
• Approximate location (based on IP address)
• Anonymous identifiers

4. How We Use Data

Since we don't collect personal data, there's no data to use! Your workout information stays on your device and is used solely to:

• Generate personalized workouts
• Save your favorite workouts locally
• Remember your settings and preferences
• Provide timer and voice guidance functionality

5. Data Storage and Security

All your data is stored locally on your device using Android's secure storage mechanisms:

• SharedPreferences: For settings and saved workouts
• Local device storage: No cloud synchronization

Your data is as secure as your device. We recommend:

• Using a secure device lock screen
• Keeping your device updated
• Being cautious with device access

6. Data Sharing

We do NOT share your data with anyone. Period. Since we don't collect your data, there's nothing to share.

The only data that may be shared is anonymous ad interaction data collected by Google AdMob (see Section 3.2).

7. Permissions

FitDeck requests the following Android permissions:

• INTERNET: Required to fetch exercise data from ExerciseDB API and display ads
• ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: To check if internet is available before making API calls

We do NOT request permissions for:

• Camera
• Location
• Contacts
• Storage (beyond app-specific storage)
• Microphone

8. Children's Privacy

FitDeck is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used FitDeck, please contact us.

9. Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control:

• Access: All your data is visible within the app
• Delete: Clear app data in Android Settings or uninstall the app
• Modify: Change settings and delete saved workouts anytime
• Export: Currently not available, but all data stays on your device

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:

• Posting the new Privacy Policy in the app
• Updating the "Last Updated" date
• Displaying a notification in the app (for significant changes)

Your continued use of FitDeck after changes means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.

11. International Users

FitDeck is available worldwide. Since we don't collect personal data, there are no international data transfer concerns. Third-party services (ExerciseDB, AdMob) may process data according to their own policies.

12. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected. Good news: We don't collect any personal information!

13. European Users (GDPR)

For users in the European Union, we comply with GDPR by:

• Not collecting personal data
• Storing all data locally on your device
• Being transparent about third-party services
• Giving you full control over your data
